A group of three local high school learners have been recognized for their artistic talents, after participating in a logo design competition in Makhanda. These talented Grade 10 students had the opportunity to contribute to the visual identity of Wind Garden, one of the Eastern Cape’s newest wind energy projects, currently under construction in the area.

In celebration of Youth Day 2025, thirteen young learners from Namaqualand area, currently enrolled in a local Project Management Learnership programme, visited a local old-age home in Bergsig. Supported by Kangnas Wind Farm, this visit was designed to bridge the gap between generations, fostering connection, compassion, and community between the youth and elders.
