The 8th annual WindAc Africa Conference returns from 21–23 October 2025 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC 2), once again hosted alongside the Windaba Conference & Exhibition.
WindAc Africa is a premier academic platform dedicated to deepening knowledge, fostering innovation, and strengthening collaboration between academia and industry in the African wind energy sector. The 2025 edition continues to support the development of emerging experts and researchers, while advancing critical discourse on wind energy’s role in South Africa’s energy transition.
This year’s programme will feature paper presentations across a range of technical, policy, environmental, and socio-economic topics - focused on real-world application, data-driven insights, and cross-sector solutions.
Researchers, academics, and professionals are invited to submit abstracts for presentation.
Abstract submissions close: 15 August 2025.
