The Windaba Conference & Exhibition returns for its 14th edition from 21–23 October 2025 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC 2), bringing together South Africa’s wind energy stakeholders for three days of strategic dialogue, industry insights, and purposeful collaboration.
Guided by SAWEA’s 2025 theme - The Year of the Grid - this year’s focus, “Break the Gridlock! Wire for Growth!”, centres on the urgent need to address transmission and grid infrastructure challenges. With 2.6GW of wind power currently under construction and over 33GW in the pipeline, the sector stands ready to deliver. But unlocking this potential depends on the ability to overcome persistent grid constraints and build investor confidence in scalable, inclusive energy development. Windaba 2025 offers a space for key players across industry, government, and civil society to connect, share knowledge, and form the partnerships needed to drive real progress in South Africa’s energy transition.
