By advancing enabling policies, grid investments and collaborative planning across government and industry, South Africa can unlock the full potential of its wind resources and position itself as a leader in Africa’s renewable energy transition. 

Why I love working in the Wind industry: I am passionate about South Africa’s clean energy transition and I see wind power as a cornerstone of a sustainable and resilient energy future. With experience spanning technical analysis, policy development and energy advocacy, I’m driven by the opportunity to help shape the frameworks that enable wind power to thrive. My work and PhD research in renewable energy reflect a deep commitment to advancing the wind sector and accelerating its role in South Africa’s evolving energy landscape.
