Policy & Markets
The Policy and Markets Working Group (PWG) was established in 2015 to promote the South African wind energy industry through lobbying for a favourable policy, legislative and regulatory environment. The PWG aims to identify policy-related barriers to the continued expansion and sustainable operation of the industry and works towards resolving challenges through continued and targeted engagement with external and internal stakeholders. This includes staying abreast of policy-related matters that have the potential to impact the wind energy industry and promoting the continued expansion and long-term sustainability of the South African wind energy industry through both proactive and reactive engagement.
