Noupoort drop in centres care for community children

Three child and youth drop-in centres together with a comprehensive community-based aftercare programme have been set up to provide a safe and stimulating environment for Noupoort’s community children. KANGNAS WIND FARM FIRST IPP SELF-BUILD TRANSMISSION SUBSTATION ON BEHALF OF ESKOM

Kangnas Wind Farm commenced the construction on the Groeipunt Transmission Substation in June this year.  This is the first time that an Independent Power Producer in South Africa has taken on the responsibility of a greenfield self-build Transmission substation, which would normally fall to Eskom to build.  Once complete the substation, which will enable the Kangnas Windfarm to have grid connection on the Eskom 220kV network, will be handed over to the national utility.READ MORE
