2020 promises to be an exciting year for Perdekraal East Wind Farm as it heads into its final six months of construction. Kangnas Wind Farm commenced the construction on the Groeipunt Transmission Substation in June this year. This is the first time that an Independent Power Producer in South Africa has taken on the responsibility of a greenfield self-build Transmission substation, which would normally fall to Eskom to build.
